TAY NINH & CU CHI TOUR
  • Address :
  • Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border, is home to the unique Cao Dai sect, whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name a few. The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity.

Cao Daism is a mixture of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. In this religious, Buddha and the Christian God are believed to both exist as deities, but Cao Dai is the third, highest deity. First founded by Ngo Van Chieu in 1923, by 1930 it gathered half a million followers, and over 2 millions - now.

In the morning, we drive to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the extra combination of the Confucianism, Christianity, Taoism and Buddhism. After lunch, we drive back, with a stop at the Cu Chi Tunnels. The trip ends at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
