• The Mekong River connects Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and Yunnan (China) and is the longest river in the southeastern Asia region. Deep in history and rich in culture, it''s one of the last travel frontiers with stunning natural beauty and incredible cultural diversity.
Day 1: HCM city - Cantho (L,D)

This morning you will be met at 08.00am by your driver to begin your journey south into the heart of the Mekong Delta. En route, pass farmers tending their fields and drying their produce on the sides of the road. On arrival at Can Tho (approximately a 4 hour drive) check into your beautiful French colonial style hotel situated on the banks of the Mekong River.

At leisure to enjoy Cantho city and Victoria Cantho by the Mekong River. Tonight we enjoy candle light diner at the hotel. Overnight at Victoria Cantho.


Day 2:  Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)

Morning at leisure. Board our  Bassac cruise at Can Tho at Ninh Kieu pier. Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure downstream of the Hau river. Lunch on board while en route. Tour near Tra On floating market. Branching into Mang Thit river towards Co Chien river.Rest on the upper deck or enjoy the open bar in a scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks. Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Open bar and rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit river towards the anchorage point for the night. The Bassac sets anchor for the night on river Mang Thit.



Day 3:  Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B)

06:30 Bassac cruise sets sail again through the labyrinth of creek and canals towards Cai Be. The passengers take their breakfast while enjoying the scenery on the river banks.The Bassac crosses Co Chien river then branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through bobbling commotion of laden boats  of sand and rice barges, in a scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards. Arrival in Cai Be, check-out and boarding of a local boat for a tour of Cai Be floating market and handicraft.  Pick up at Caibe  and drive back to  HCM city.
